Training & Courses

Edible Brum is all about food. We help people to learn how we can grow it ourselves, how it’s linked to our health and well-being, how we need to make serious changes in our behaviour to tackle food poverty and hold organisations to account for the amount of food that is wasted and plastic waste that is created.

Get involved in one of our horticultural courses, book yourself on our green leadership ‘ditch the desk’ day or volunteer and help us help others.

Green Leadership Ditch the Desk Days

Are you looking for something different to enhance or extend leadership and development in the workplace? Do you want support to connect key environmental issues? Do you need to enthuse your staff and volunteers to take a more active role in greening your approach? Then we have just the thing for you. The day will take you on an experiential green journey exploring needs, challenges and choices we all face in relation to key issues such as waste, food, transport and energy.

Northfield Ecocentre’s Ditch the Desk Days offers a chance to get outdoors, get your hands dirty and get closer to nature and understanding the many ways in which we can green up our approach to living both at work and our personal lives. We can tailor the day to your objectives so get in touch and get involved in an day that will change the way you think.
